Hi there!
I just wanted to tell you that I hope you feel better and that I really love reading your blog and hearing how you are doing. I would say I check for updates at least once a day. Does that make me obsessive? A stalker even? Maybe just in need of escape from the world of Play Doh and Bob the Builder for just a few minutes a day?
Wasn't sure if you've been checking email- if so, which account? Can you email me if you are?
Take care! Love, Tara
I'd say you have lots of stalkers these days, since most of us check your blog pretty often. :) I'm hoping that my husband will get on the posting pictures bandwagon and then I'll be able to update our blog better. After all, it's no good telling you that we bought a lovely rug without showing you any pix, right? Plus, we'll be starting the dining room redecoration so we need some before and after action.
Blah blah blah see I told you that you'd be a good teacher. I'm glad that you like it--I hope that you're able to get enough time away from it to not burn out right too soon. I'm so completely jealous of you eating Korean food all the time! You'll never go to Chipotle with me again.... :(
Take care of yourself, okay? Much love!!
more loves than hates - awesome. hope the 'puter gets fixed soon. i also check your blog daily and get my cube dweller living vicariously thru fellow adoptee adventures fix. Those kiddies are lucky to have you for a teacher and I know you all will make quite the impression on each other. Still on the hunt for grants that would enable me to come visit you!
luv - jweir
dude, i miss you guys so so so so so so so so so much. holy buckets.
korean momo, so excited you can make dukpokki, wh00t!!!! will you teach me when i get home?
tara, am checking my gmail account once a day at work. am going to try to get to a PC room this weekend for 4 hours and catch up on email and the blog. :) love that you're my stalker. ~grin~
mel, i promise to still go to chipotle with you. and to the mercado central for tamales. dude. they don't have tamales here. was trying to explain them to my kids. also, salsa in korean means diarreha. that was a fun lesson. ~lol~
jweir, someone had better give you a grant, dammit. ~grin~
hope you are all well. love you,
~s
Sara! It is such fun reading about your journey! I'll bet you are a great teacher. I can't wait to see pictures of your kids - how cool, you have KIDS, tee hee. Things have been tough the last few months, nothing to worry about but I didn't know that till recently (whew!), and your 'happy, happy, joy, joy' takes on life, bugs, bad restaurants, eating live squid, and trash cans help me take things a bit easier. Missing your mischievous ways!
