level test, take I
Took my level test yesterday. They are supposed to last 20-30 minutes. Mine lasted approximately 3 minutes. ~lol~ I'm in Level 1. No surprise there. ^^ Am happy to be starting at the beginning.
I'm super excited to start classes next week. September 2. 9 am. I hope my brain still works in study mode. I hope I can stay awake in class. ~lol~ Was notorious in college for sleeping during class. All the more reason to start getting more sleep, eh? ^^
Had orientation today and met a few other scholarship people, three of whom are also in level 1 at Sogang. We might not be in the same class, however, because there are 8 level 1 courses. eep. They were pretty cool. I'm excited!
Here are a few photos of the school.

Sitting in one of several small park/rest areas on campus. It's a small campus, but there are a lot of places to sit outside and study. I think I'm going to like it here.

In other news, I'm dead tired today because I went out with some of the adoptees at the hostel last night to a couple of bars and a noraebang (singing room, karoke style) in Hongdae. It was a fun, very late night. I woke up early today to attend orientation. Am having a quiet day with an early sleep time later tonight. ^^ Tomorrow I hope to go hiking. I haven't figured out what mountain to go to yet.
Things at the hostel are interesting. There's a bit of infighting, which I suppose is normal when you have 15-20 people from all over the world living together in one house for a lengthy period of time. Most people seem to be staying here for a month or more.
Oh, I just got a message from an old co-worker. I might be going to Everland (big gigantic amusement park) with people tomorrow instead of hiking. ~lol~ It's a little expensive. Must think about this. It would be awfully fun, though.
This seems like kind of a boring post. Sorry about that. O_O I don't feel very entertaining today.
Miss you!
