damn, i need a vacation
and i'm going to thailand in 8 days. can't wait. holy #*$&%(#*&@.
work sucks right now. we're in intensives, so we're on the 8:30 am to 8:00 pm schedule - 9 hours of teaching and 2 hours for prep and lunch. i have two senior classes primarily made up of kids who have a hard time writing in english. i got so spoiled my last four months of teaching, because 80 percent of my students in my senior level classes were great writers with minimal grammar mistakes who always understood what i was saying. now i've got two classes with maybe 10 percent decent writers and a good 50 percent who can't write a complete sentence.
crabby. frustrated. class is okay, but i miss my old students.
time for sleep. a less crabby missive next time.

Hey Sara!
Ick, sounds really tough right now. I'm so glad you're going on vacation soon though, yay! Rehearsals are going well. My part is tiny, but I'm having a really good time with the cast. They're all so great. Geoff and Hannah go to NJ next week so I'll be on my own.

That schedule is killer--I'd be falling asleep on the subway. Hope your vacation is as relaxing as ours, but not as expensive. :)
