yeeeeeuuuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkkk

culture shock galore. getting stared at again. eating processed foods again. driving everywhere again. sitting on my butt instead of walking again.

it is strange to go back to places where i was so unhappy before. there's some kind of weird sense-memory thing going on. it's challenging to keep my mood up when i see certain places. not what i was expecting.

at a show tonight, had an old - like 70+ - man try to put his hand on my leg during act ii. fantastic. miserable d@#$ for brains a##hole. then he tried to apologize after the show and i just left. i should have yelled at him. i should have made him feel ashamed. i should should should.

but i didn't.

i was a polite, nice, passive midwestern girl who didn't want to cause a scene.

so stupid.

i need to move to new york. or detroit. toughen up. learn how to tell people off.

i miss korea. i miss the crowds. the bustle. the staying up 'til 6 am on the weekends drinking and playing pool or darts or bowling or dancing. the looking somewhat like everyone else on the surface. the teaching. my students. the funny things they do in class. the mass transit system. the food. the simplicity of life there. everything i need is within walking distance.

aish.

anyway. no, no no. it's not all bad.

positives.

it is very, very, veryveryvery cool to see my friends again.

rehearsals are going well. it feels good to be working on a show again, was a little worried about that. am feeling i'm a better singer than an actor, so am working to strenghthen the acting skills.

the only thing sitting in a car is good for is singing - have been singing a lot while driving from hudson to minneapolis. have rediscovered how singing keeps me sane. must sing more in korea, somehow. rod would probably appreciate that. ~lol~

i love my new camera - the canon S3. am writing on my folks' computer now. will try to post some photos tomorrow at the coffee shop from my laptop.

am sleeping well. have four blankets on my bed. luxury. it's cold downstairs. ^o^

good night.
